I started Freebie Friday to make my readers aware of eBooks on Amazon that are FREE at the moment. I’m doing this mostly because bibliophilia can be expensive and I want book lovers to get their fix without busting their budget. I will pick a few different genres every week and post here for all to enjoy!
Bring on the FREE books!

“Everyone knows Christmas is a time for family but not for Harry Barnes. If he had his way, he would close his eyes and not open them again until January second when all the fuss was over. Once upon a time he had loved the season but that was a long time ago. His wife Annie and daughter Erin are gone and he hasn’t spoken to his only son, Sam, in years.
The Christmas candlesticks he’d lovingly carved for Annie and their children are buried in the attic under a thick layer of dust along with memories that could break a man’s heart . . . if he still had one left to break.
After years of living on military bases all around the world, Sam Barnes has moved his family back home for keeps but they might as well still be in Japan or England or Timbuktu for all the difference it makes. His father’s heart is still closed to the idea of family and there is nothing Sam can do to change it. Not even if the only thing his twelve-year-old daughter Riley wants for Christmas is the grandfather she has never met.
But then on a snowy Christmas Eve in Rocky Hill, Harry and Sam are visited by a determined mother and daughter who have just a few earth hours to bring their family together or lose them forever. ”

A Super-Steamy Werewolf Romance
“This is a 15,000 words novella — The perfect length for an evening read. For a limited time, this book also contains bonus stories for your enjoyment.
Jennifer Hart is interviewing for the position of nanny to the orphaned niece of eccentric and elusive billionaire, Michael Thompson. Plied with offers of a generous salary to pay for her siblings’ college, and the chance to live in a fairy tale mansion, Jennifer accepts the interview, as well as the position when offered. While Mary Sullivan, the niece, is a bright, isolated child who Jennifer is easily able to draw out of her shell, the uncle is decidedly difficult…and devastatingly attractive. Meanwhile, Jennifer meets Damien, a swoon-worthy travel blogger staying in the nearby town. Damien seems ready to begin a whirl-wind romance with Jennifer. However, Damien and Michael share a secret—they are both werewolves; dangerous, wild creatures that come out after dark. As Jennifer is plunged into their world, she finds herself caught in the balance—both men claim the other is dangerous. Which one can she trust? Which one has her heart?”
Sword of Champions (The House of De Winter Collection) By Kathryn Le Veque
“Welcome to the definitive House of de Winter Collection.
They call the sword l’Espada – the sword of the ancestors of the House of de Winter. The first born male in every generation carries this sword, infused with a legacy beyond compare. The House of de Winter is descended from the Visigoths, a line of men both powerful and fearful, but with the passage of time and the development of civilized society, the wild ways of their ancestors has turned to the warring Medieval ways. De Winter always supports the king upon the throne of England, right or wrong, and Lespada is wielded only for the rulers of England. This collection contains:
Lespada – The first book in the series. Davyss de Winter and his sword marry a resistant bride.
Swords and Shields – Drake de Winter marries a lady of Scottish/French ancestry who is not who she pretends to be.
The Questing – Drake de Winter is a secondary character in this sweeping epic of love and loss.
The Thunder Lord – A young Davyss de Winter is a secondary character in the first book in the Lords of Thunder series. With Simon de Montfort upon the throne, Davyss and his best friend, Gallus de Shera, must fight on opposite sides.
