*First Freebie Friday*

Hi lovelies!

I am starting a Freebie Fridays meme this week. Is that already a thing? I’m making it one if not. It will be designed to make my readers aware of eBooks on Amazon that are FREE at the moment. I’m doing this mostly because bibliophilia can be expensive and I want book lovers to get their fix without busting their budget. I will pick a few different genres every week and post here for all to enjoy!

Let’s brighten up this already glorious Fri-YAY with some FREE books on Amazon! Because Free equals Fun, am I right?!

Mystery/Thriller

Deadly Stillwater by Roger Stelljes

“This book takes the reader on one wild ride, with the suspense not letting up until the very end. Mac is one part Lucas Davenport and one part Mitch Rapp – and it just does not get any better than that!” Amazon reviewer

Two girls gone…
Shannon hustled to her car and dug into her black purse, searching for her car keys, “Where the heck did they go?” He quickly put his hand over her mouth as she screamed and thrashed, slid the van door open, and dragged her inside… She tried to scream through the duct tape pasted over her mouth. He could see the horror in Shannon’s eyes. It was only the beginning.

One detective under pressure…
The ruggedly handsome Mac McRyan, a fourth-generation cop, is faced with a complicated brazen daytime kidnapping, a media storm surrounding the case, and political scrutiny. An abduction is just the beginning in a case of betrayal and revenge that will ultimately strike at the heart and soul of the St. Paul Police Department.

And no time left.
From the searing streets of St. Paul to the murky waters and beaches of the St. Croix River, DEADLY STILLWATER is a book you won’t be able to put down until its last gripping minute.”

*This freebie sounds captivating! I love a good thriller. It’s on my TBR but if you read this mystery before me, don’t you dare give away the ending!

Romance

Burned Promises by Willow Winters

“My world is caving in on itself; the scars of my past threatening to consume me.
I was ready to fall from the top of my empire and I didn’t give a damn.

But then she showed up; falling back into my life and into my bed.
My sweetheart.

I’m not the type of man to make promises. But long ago I made one to her, and then broke it, pushing her as far away as I could. She’s too good for this shit and I couldn’t risk her.

I should let her walk away again; I’m a bad man, but I’m too selfish.
This time, I’m keeping her.”

*Why am I such a sucker for this smut?! I don’t really know but you’ve heard the saying, “If it’s wrong, then I don’t wanna be right”. That is how all of these romances make me feel. There is room in my life for all different types of genres… BUT just bring on these sex scenes. (*gimme, gimme*)

The Change by TeylaBranton

“Death, Life, or Love—Unbounded Always Play for Keeps

There are only two ways to kill Unbounded, and fire isn’t one of them—as law school dropout Erin Radkey learns the hard way. By fluke of a recessive gene, she has become Unbounded, a nearly immortal being with paranormal abilities.

Erin’s Change separates her from her loved ones and alters everything she believes to be true. A week earlier she was considering a marriage proposal; now she contemplates the best way to stay alive. Caught in a battle between two Unbounded groups, the Emporium and the Renegades, she is also hunted by a secret mortal society sworn to eradicate the Unbounded gene.

As Erin plunges into this dangerous new life, she must carve out her own place in the madness, protect her mortal family, and decide which group she should join. Her unique ability is vital to both groups in the race to secure an identification software that spells death for all Unbounded—or enslavement for the entire mortal world. Some will stop at nothing to use Erin as one more pawn in a battle that has spanned centuries. Erin’s undeniable attraction to Ritter Langton, whose family was massacred by opposing Unbounded two hundred and forty years ago, complicates her choices. There are no second chances. Death, life, or love—Unbounded always play for keeps.

Non-stop action, terrifying consequences, and powerful romance make The Change an exciting addition to the world of romantic urban fantasy.”

*Urban Fantasy is my MY FAVORITE genre! Give me a kickass heroine with supernatural powers and I’m happy. If you feel the same then this might be a good fit for you. This freebie got good reviews and sounds like a great read!

Forever Ours by Trisha Leigh (Cassia Leo)

“Book one of the New York Times bestselling Shattered Hearts Series, re-edited and re-released for a young adult audience.

After years of being tossed from one foster home to another, Claire arrives at the home of Jackie Knight and her son, tattooed guitarist Chris Knight. Chris becomes Claire’s first friend and first love. But Chris’s dreams of musical stardom and Claire’s need for a stable home put their love at odds. Chris struggles with his plans for the future, entirely reluctant to leave Claire behind; until Claire does something that may break their love — and the only home she’s ever known — forever.”

*If you liked the Shattered Hearts series, then you are probably going to love this. I’m led to believe this is a prequel. A coming of age story for those who enjoy young adult angst!
